Well, for a celebration for the new editor I thought I would make a thread discussing a recent event that took place recently.

The boy who's name was not released told his parent he was going to go into the gorilla enclosure, in which he did. The gorilla that was in the enclosure dragged the kid around it, as if he was giving him a tour. After 10 minutes, the gorilla was shot and the boy was taken to a children's hospital, with a few injuries from the dragging.

Here's a video of the scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBeVfQtSD2k

It was his fault for going in there in the first place. Why didn't his parents stop him?
Very unfair for shooting the animal, A) he didn't cause a large amount of harm to the child and B) the kid shouldnt be poncing about near an enclosure like that. In all honesty, the parents want shooting - not the gorilla!
I read a Facebook post on this, why it was understandable that they killed the gorilla. It did makes sense, However it's absolutely ridiculous that the mother did not keep an eye on her son while in a busy environment.
