who do you guys prefer as Spiderman...Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield?

I prefer Andrew Garfield, just loved the outfit and his hair is fantastic!

I have never watched a single second of spider man.

Here is the funny part, Spider-man's character is that of a dorky nerd who achieves superpowers and becomes more childish and energetic under the hood of Spider-man. Andrew Garfield manages to portrait the childish portion, that is Spider-man perfectly, however he doesn't fit the role of Peter Parker. (As Peter is dorky, un-attractive and a nerd, Andrew is neither of these.) Tobey Maguire on the other hand perfectly fits the role of Peter Parker, by looking like an un-popular nerd.

However Tobey doesn't fit the role of Spider-man as he is far too serious, and lacks any childish traits whatsoever. So in this light, neither of the actors is the "better" one as they both fail equally at the role. However, best incarnation of the Spider-man has to be the Amazing Spider-man (comics.)
