I am not a big fan of Sci-Fi, but I liked a few shows.  My top three were all canceled too soon:  Forever, Firefly and Almost Human.  I liked some more mainstream ones like Buffy and Angel, but I really miss those three.  What are yours?
Never really watch tv, I've heard of Forever though.
Hmm, Scifi? I like Lost Girl which was cancelled. She was so misunderstood and heroic. Haven another of my favorites is still on and it went to spaces really off the charts! Then there's Buffy The Vampire Slayer that's gone and doesn't seem to like to return any time soon.  I'm older so I got lots of others that was cancelled too.

Not sure if all three classify as sci-fi but here's mine:

1. Battlestar Galactica
2. Torchwood
3. Lost
I am a big fan of the genre and I have seen a lot of shows. The cult ones like Dr Who, Twilight Zone or The X-Files are just inevitable but recently I have seen some of the shows that were even better then these. I will pick only one for this occasion because it was exceptional and I've seen no one here ever mentioning it. Fringe. Of course.

Fringe is way over what I expected. Way, way, way over. It has twists, mysteries, suspense in several worlds separately and combined. It really has everything and good acting as well. Ana Torv did a great job as well as others. I will mention Walter by his character name because he was really something else.

Continuum is another one of those that were better than expected to be.
Sci-fi is a really big genre with lots of sub-genres so it's kinda hard to pin-point exactly what exactly belongs to it, but I'll try not to create controversy.

3) Futurama - Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons made a show somewhere in the late '90s and it had few runs since the last one ended in 2013. A little edgier humor compared to Simpsons and an excellent setting in New New York in the year 3000. Great combination of futurism and humor.

2) The Walking Dead - My current favorite show. Post-apocalyptic genre is one of my favorites and even though I'm not fan of zombies, I still like this show very much. Have read the comics as well, simply brilliant.

1) Firefly - Quite expected since almost anyone who watches this show likes it. Cancelled prematurely so one season is all we have, but it's an awesome gorram season.
