If there's one area PCs tend to win over consoles - in my book, anyway - it's in gaming mods. The ability to customize games and create new content is so damned awesome, especially when it's done right. Which gaming mods are your favourites?
My choice is more a custom campaign than an outright mod, though there are graphical mods built into it: Mass Recall, for StarCraft II. It's a recreation of the original StarCraft in the StarCraft II engine, with all of the original audio thrown in for authenticity. It's a remarkable feat of level design... plus it saves me from having to buy the original StarCraft again.
Hmm, i am a newbie when it comes to mods. But for the an upcoming game called "Dragon Dogma" on PC, i am eagerly hoping someone could mod it and i am more than happy to try any mod that can make the game much more pretty!
I love modding games, I don't have a certain mod. I'll do just about any mod. Rather it be mods on GTA V:O or Fallout 4.
If you play steam and wanna add me my user name is

I don't have one yet, but I'm looking forward to playing the RatRace Earthbound hack, as well as Toby Fox's Halloween hack of the same game. I love Earthbound too much, and sadly, there's not enough of it. Playing the same games over and over again gets boring, so I'm glad that some extremely dedicated fans took their time to create story hacks.

Yeah, I've been tempted to play that Halloween hack. I've heard it's quite good. More or less led into him developing Undertale, as I recall.
As for Fallout mods, I saw this one last night that was pretty terrifying:
Are mods like DLCs? I love gaming, but I don't know all of the terms. Is it anything you download, like character and clothes and expansions?
Graphical mods foe skyrim, new zones, quests, etc.
I remember oblivion's mod about an under ground world and having to go through a lot to even get there and then still having like 2 hours of quests to do.
I wish I remembered the name.

Mods are user-made tweaks to a game. They can range from overhauls of an entire game, right down to the mechanics, to minor graphical changes, such as Thomas the Tank Engine terrifying the lands of Skyrim. If it's a change to a game that wasn't made by the original developers then it's a mod.

I tried the Halloween Hack and yeah, it's really hard. Had to download Toby's guide. I got tired quickly and opted for reading a let's play (though I might get back to playing it). What can I say, he clearly had issues with JRPG way back in 2008. lol
OH MY GOD NO I hate Thomas the Tank so much, the stupid cartoon is such a nightmare fuelÂ
Who thought this was good idea

Okay. How do you find them and how can you tell the difference between a mod and a change by the developer?
