Is something about this game and the subsequent genre that it spawned. What is so fascinating about these games.  I've only played league of Legends a hand full of times and each time I was completely annihilated. While that was fun for a short time, I quickly became frustrated with the game mechanics and unbelievably steep learning curve. So how is it people are so I totally his game to the point that playing it becomes their career?

I don't know. I never really saw the appeal in any MOBA type game, but some people really seem to like them.

I have never understood how this evolves into a career either. I really don't know why colleges give scholarships for playing something like this, why not a game that's a bit more fun or requires more skill, as LoL has neither of these attributes in my opinion.
