Alrighty guys so as of today 
  • the alerts have been tweaked.
  •  10 latest threads will now appear in the sidebar.
  •  2 new awards added ( 1 GIF )
  • New announcement for the welcome award. 
  • The forums blue has been changed to a brighter more suitable shade.

I didn't really notice the difference in the forum color though. Could be brighter in my opinion.

it's possible you may need to clear your cache - try Cntrl and F5 - there is a change to the bars: 
Namely, these sort of bars:
