I really hate IPB, I think its the ugliest software ever, what do you truthfully think of it? Please speak up your mind about it, thanks! I've been on a few fora run with IPB and everytime, I didn't like it. So yeah, thats my 2 cents about this software.

Unrecognized won't be happy with you saying you dislike it! ;)

Might I ask for an elaboration as to why you dislike it? :)

No reason whatsover, I just hate everything about it! Maybe because my favourite software is Xenforo, so I think its so much superior to IPB in every way possible, so yeah, that might be it!

Katos is right, I'm a huge fan of Invision Power Board.

There is nothing better and more advanced than Invision Power Board.
I have to say that the Admin Control Panel from the 3.4.x versions are much better in my opinion than the Admin Control Panel from 4.x.

But beside that there are tons of custom themes, hooks, applications, snippets and whatsoever.
I've been posting much Invision Power Board related things on another forum which is also using this forum software.
Things like custom packs with, themes, hooks, applications, snippets, forum ranks and forum rank images, award images and much more.

The thing I like about IPB the most is the management system, it is very user friendly. So if you want to create a new rank just follow the steps and you'll get it done.
You can get each rank a rank image which will be seen in each post, same as this forum. Custom permissions and much more.

There are so many different features, too much to count and tell you about.

Beside this I do respect your opinion about it and I know not everyone likes it. But hate is a big word.
I'm curious about what features you hate about IPB..

Anyways, I liked to read this topic and I also like to give my opinion about it. :)

Its not its features, but rather its themes, I find them so ugly! Forgive me for not liking it like you, but yeah.

I have nothing against the forum software, I'm sure I've used it either once or twice but regardless I have had no problem or issues with it despite having a little trouble finding my way around. ( but that's usually the case with any new forum software ) As you mentioned about themes Naiwen a lot of forum softwares have good and bad themes. To be honest if you want a good one that usually costs, that's why I tend to create and design my own. :D
If you need assistance with anything, feel free to message me.

I am NOT a robot or am I?

Personally dont think you can blame that on the software itself ...
But, there are some simply stunning themes for IPBoards.

Personally, i've been looking at the next-generation softwares, so looking at NodeBB, Flarum etc.
I do however, find IPBoards to be very powerful and adaptable, and personally I do like it - so long, ofcourse, as it is run properly without going overboard on the theme / hooks etc.

I never heard of those before. How are they?

Like Katos said, you can't judge Invision Power Board on its themes, the themes are not even created by the official owners of Invision Power Board.

I can see your point, but I can dislike it yes?
