Oh yeah, and dnsimple are good for DNS hosting, and Gandi for domains (with a free SSL certificate for the first year, though now Let's Encrypt is available this is less of a big deal).

I got a couple domains from Godaddy for like 99 cents.  Also Arvixe, but only because I had a $20 credit!  Rofl
