I don't necessarily think so especially depending on the shows the information you gather while watching can make you even more intelligent for example there have been shows that I have seen that have been very informative.

It depends on what you watch I guess. If you watch a lot of game shows/quiz shows then I guess it could make you more intelligent considering you will be learning a lot of facts
