MWC 2016: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge release date: where can I get it?

It seems that Samsung is betting big on curves, as alongside the Galaxy S7 it's announced the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - the third curved screen phone from the company in the space of a year.

With a big 5.5-inch QHD display, a massive battery and all the same great features as the Samsung Galaxy S7, including a slim waterproof design, a microSD card slot and a tasty camera, this could be Samsung's real flagship.

All that style, power and innovation doesn't come cheap, but it will be available from March 11. So read on for a guide to where you can get the S7 Edge and how much it will cost you.

Samsung

Samsung is stocking the Galaxy S7 Edge on its online store for £639 SIM free. That's expensive, but it was never going to be cheap. You can grab the phone in gold or black with delivery expected on March 8.

Three

Three has the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge available to pre-order now, with delivery expected on March 8. It's available from £41 per month plus £99 upfront and you can grab it in Gold Platinum or Black Onyx.

EE

EE has confirmed that it will be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Better yet, you can now pre-order it on the EE site, from £49.99 per month plus £29.99 upfront.

O2

O2 has the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge up for pre-order from £51 per month plus £9.99 upfront. As with other retailers it's available in black or gold and should be with you on March 8, three days before launch, if you pre-order. Plus O2 will throw in a free pair of Jabra Sport Pulse headphones if you order before April 27.

Vodafone

Vodafone has the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge up for pre-order from £32 per month plus a hefty £199 upfront. Though if you'd rather pay more per month and less upfront there are other tariffs for that. You can get it in gold or black.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone Warehouse will be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from £36 per month plus £129.99 upfront. You can pre-order it now, from February 22 you'll be able to test the phone out in select stores and by February 23 it should be available to demo UK-wide.

Get in early and you could also get yourself a free Samsung Gear VR headset worth £79.99 for being one of the first to pre-order. By pre-ordering, Carphone Warehouse also promises that you'll get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge three days before its official release date.

Giffgaff

Giffgaff is allowing people to register their interest in the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which presumably means it will be stocking it. We'll let you know when it's available and how much for as soon as we hear anything.

Other retailers

You can also put in an order for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at Mobiles.co.uk. It's free from £54 per month and available in black or gold.

Virgin Media has also confirmed that it will be carrying the Edge. It's up for pre-order with prices starting at £38 per month with no upfront cost.
