I been part of MOBA's since close to the beginning. I played StarCraft but honestly don't remember Aeon of Strife (if I played it at the time it didn't leave an impression on me). I played DotA when it was first created by Eul and had the pleasure of seeing him around a couple times. Since then I was always a big fan. Then fell out of it for awhile until Heroes of Newerth resurrected it for me. Moving forward in time...

League of Legends is pretty wonderful. Definitely one of the biggest if not the biggest games in the world but with a major downfall -- the player base. Some of the most toxic players I've ever encountered. Myself, I love playing the game but I'm more casual than anything. 98% of my time is spent playing the fun modes. Love the character designs, the skins, splash arts, story and game play. It's always trying to improve.

Aside from playing the game I like to personally track my own achievements. I'm up to 3 lifetime Pentakill's (probably not a lot to most players), and I got them on AD Kog'ma (man he's broken AF), Anivia (that was the hardest I had to work at staying alive) and my most recent on Xin Zhao (talk about a late game juggernaut, he's brutal when he has build). I'm also up to 8 lifetime S ratings. Free chests FTW. All on different champs.

One thing about LoL that surprised me is -- all my life I hated sports, but it has shown me that I have a love for e-Sports. Yes, I watch the pro games and even own a jersey of my favorite team. Believe me, my girlfriend makes plans when it's game time because I jack the TV. Not only that the LoL community has some amazing cosplayers. I have a handful of friends who play the game and eventually I will get serious in ranked.

I play it sometimes and when I do it's either Yasuo or Annie, since both are strong-midlaners. I don't play often and never PVP because I get destroyed lol.
