Whenever I attempt to open Microsoft Word, or any Office child for that matter, I receive this error:

I've tried to re-install, but re-arming always fails.  Is there another way to go about fixing this, other than re-installing the express way?

Did you completely uninstall and re-install. I wasn't sure by your post.

My guess is that you need to log out of all of your Office 365 applications. If that does not solve your problem try removing the Officr 365 login credentials from your credentials manager.
