How many of you own or plan on buying a Xbox One?
#1
I am recently divorced and my income went down massively. So when it came to nextgen consoles I had to make a choice and decided to go with the PS4. If they can get it down to $299 I might pick it up. But for now I plan on sticking with my PS4. How many of you own or plan on buying a Xbox One?

Waited 7 hours in line for mine lol, I think it's worth it. I've been on and off again with my gaming and even when I'm going through periods I don't play videos games (weeks sometimes) I still use my xbox everyday. Some times I come home from a long day and lay right down. "oh no wheres my remote?" "Xbox On" "Xbox Watch USA" fall asleep watching ncis, like clock work :)
I think it was worth the money in extras alone. I also love Skyping on it the camera well zoom in and follow me around the room.

I decided to go with the PS4 as well. Xbox one and Microsoft seem to be deadset on focusing on a "jack of all trades" style console, while being a master of none. On the other hand, PS4 seems to be what it's meant to be: A video game console. Microsoft has also demonstrated it's antagonistic remarks and strategies against gamers, and seem to focusing on almost scam-style strategies to sell their console, and bundling the Kinect with it. I bought a PS4, which doesn't try to be a TV or anything else, but instead tries to be the best game console it possibly can.

But in this day and age, I expect my game system to offer a whole lot more.
I also think the PS4 online is still lacking compared to the xbox live system. I enjoy all the extra bells and whistles that came with the xbox one, as It reassured me I got my moneys worth, as My gaming time has decreased, yet I still utilize my xbox more then anything else in my house.

I'm still trying to make the decision between the two. I have an xbox 360 right now so I was initially thinking of sticking with xbox but I've heard more good things about ps4 than xbox one.

I Always enjoy the release parties, however it was kinda lame this year, and It gave me the chance to sell it the next day for more then it's worth if I ended up not liking it.
