Another one of my all time favorite gaming series. Donkey kong was always a fun game to play after school. Sometimes I played with my sister, but most of the time we played with our friends. I think my favorite thing to do in the game was throw barrels at things. The bonus rounds were fun to play too. I really do, kind of, miss the original games.

I wouldn't say that Donkey Kong was one of my favorite old-school Nintendo games. I did really like it, though. I have a Donkey Kong shirt that I found in the K-Mart $5 t-shirt section. I love that section, because you can find the coolest stuff. I liked playing Donkey Kong but couldn't only play it for so long before dodging barrels started to get kind of boring.

I loved playing Donkey Kong on SNES, and Gameboy Color. The graphics were really amazing for the time the game come out. It seemed so 3D!
I spent many hours playing Donkey Kong Country on the go. I remember getting pissed at some levels, though.
The game could get pretty hard.

The original Donkey Kong arcade game was honestly a bit before my time, although I fully admit that it's a great game and there's a good reason as to why it's one of the first games that come to most minds when the topic of arcade classics is broached. Â However, the Donkey Kong Country games were released during the peak of my youthful gaming and I absolutely loved them! Â They pushed the SNES to the limits of its capabilities and took the classic-and-still-enjoyable sidescroller to a whole new level! Â The much more recent Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii was a great blast of nostalgia for me!

I haven't gotten the chance to play the newest game in the series, but it sounds amazing!
My favorite thing about the SNES games was being able to play as two characters or in a multiplayer.
I loved that you could fly as Diddy Kong, but Donkey was stronger.

The original Donkey Kong had three stages, and after those, the machine increased one level of difficulty. Arcade games folks, that's how they worked.
