We get at least 10 superhero movies a year. Some are good, some are bad, but most of them are definitely enjoyable. So which ones are your favorites?
If I have to list my top 3, it would go like this:
1. X2: X-Men United
2. Spiderman 2 (the one with Doctor Octopus as the villain)
3. Avengers

I really liked The Amazing Spiderman and the sequel to that. I hear they're coming out with another one so I'm excited to see how that turns out too. But other than that, I don't really get into superhero movies.

12-24-2015, 04:31 AM (This post was last modified: 12-24-2015, 04:37 AM by aboleth_lich.) As far as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is concerned: I thoroughly enjoyed the first Iron Man movie, the first Avengers movie, both Captain America movies, and both Thor movies. Â I find the other MCU films to be somewhat overrated and pale in comparison to the aforementioned movies. Â That being said, and putting Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. aside, I'm even more impressed with what Marvel has been doing with TV recently: Agent Carter, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones were all absolutely fantastic!
Sticking with Marvel properties, but moving to other studios than Marvel: I enjoyed all of the X-Men movies, with the exceptions of X-Men 3:Â The Last Stand and Wolverine: Origins. Â I also enjoyed the first two Sam Raimi Spiderman movies, and have mixed feelings about The Amazing Spiderman. Â I was severely disappointed by Spiderman 3 and The Amazing Spiderman 2. Â I also liked the first two Blade movies.
As for DC properties: I enjoyed the first two classic Superman films, the two Tim Burton directed Batman films, the first two chapters of The Dark Knight trilogy, Watchmen, and V For Vendetta. Â I have a litany of issues with both Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Rises, which makes me apprehensive about the upcoming live action DC films.
Beyond Marvel and DC properties: I also quite liked Dredd, The Crow, Dark Man, both Hellboy movies, and the first two RoboCop movies.
And, while they aren't superhero movies: I thought that American Splendor, A History of Violence, both Sin Citys, and 300 were all solid comic book adaptations.

I liked the Michael Keaton Batman movies. I'm also a fan of the Avengers movies and the side movies, like Thor and Captain America. I wasn't a fan of the X-Men movies, though. They were barely anything like the comics. I liked some of the casting choices, although Gina Torres would've done a much better job than Halle Berry.
