[Hype]

I remember back when I was younger and that game was the shit :) I also remember playing it on my jailbroken iPod 4 using a ROM emulator. Did anyone else play this game? Or was it just me and some friends?

I played this series, and I had some great times on it. I haven't been keeping up with the new releases, but I presume they are more or less the same thing. I just remember that the collection of every Pokemon to complete the Pokedex was a hassle with the different versions and whatnot.

Now, the only time I see or use Pokemon is in the newest Super Smash Brothers game. They're pretty cool in that series too.

I had this Palkia that I would always wreck with XD I got it from Chinese person and traded a lvl 3-5 or something like that for it and the Palkia was lvl 100. This Palkia could beat anything, and I mean anything. Some of my friends had a team of full legendary's and I would beat half of them with this Palkia. By the time I beat all of them they had only shitty Pokemon left and I could beat them easily :P I also remember hacking Pokemon and getting tons of those candy things that leveled up your Pokemon and making lots of lvl 100s and then "force-spawning" legendary's. Ahh, good times.

Sounds like you definitely had a blast.  I mainly remember all the game mechanics one had to take into account like type weaknesses and whatnot.  I could never memorize all of that information, even with all the internet guides and walkthroughs...

I remember those to, I only knew a few of them like Water > Fire. You know, the common sense ones.
