What's an easy to draw art style that's good for action?
The artist will need to draw spells being cast, melee, poses.

My main concern is really the humanoid poses and things like that. Too much like chibi and it can't be taken seriously enough. Too much like DBZ and it'll be too expensive.

I'm not really into manga and anime like that, so I don't know specifics of names of art styles. So I just want to get a few suggestions from you guys. I want to extract from your knowledge so that I can look for illustrators and I can express myself properly.

I would just suggest gather comics and images from the internet to see how they create their art style. Especially for action. Why not check out some of the Halo comics, they have lots of impressive styles and formations.
