Age for dating?
#1
I don't believe kids under 13 should be dating, doing any kind of sexual acts. I know kids under 10 who lost their virginity to teenagers (sometimes 5-10 years older than them). I think it's sick. And teenagers who prey sexually on kids under 10-13 are mentally ill. What's your opinion on this?

I've never heard this topic being discussed however it's good that you have covered this.

My personal opinion is that I believe as a child anything below the age of 12. Dating should be a no-go zone because you're still growing up and maturing and dating should not be something of any concern.  however depending on your maturity level around about 13 I believe that's acceptable as long as it is just puppy love sort of speak because the law still does apply and there are boundaries especially at a young age. I would say around about 15 and 16 things can be taken more seriously especially 16 and from there on as you of course mature more and more responsibility lies within your hands and you are aware of your actions more.

I think the appropriate age for dating is about 15-16 as well. That's when you're emotionally developed enough to take on relationships. And it's a good age to start realising what kind of traits you'd appreciate in a partner.
I think anything below 14-16 is a bit bizarre. Every child needs a whole lot of maturing and learning to do before getting involved.

In my opinion, the most appropriate age to seriously start dating is around 16. Or anything older, really. But as long as you stay in your "age group" I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Depends on what you mean by "dating". I'm not in favor of ten-year-olds sleeping around, but kids play around. They see their parents, and mimic their behavior, all as a part of their learning process. If two ten-year-olds say they are together, it just means that they are playing around, maybe trying to kiss each other, having fun.

Instead of banning your kids from dating in fear of that something as innocent as what I described turns into something adult that they are too young for, why not talk to your kids about sex, the age of consent and that they should wait with it?
