07-30-2017, 04:40 PM (This post was last modified: 07-30-2017, 04:40 PM by MaxBill.) I check IMDb before watching a movie and this helps me whether to watch the movie or not

I was a bit confused by the title LOL how are you supposed to review a movie before watching it? :P
Anyway, yeah I usually do a quick google search to see how much % a movie has on rotten tomatoes. I don't read reviews in depth though as they tend to contain spoilers!

A lot of the time I do check it's rating, however, I had noticed some of my favourite movies with low ratings so I tend to go on if the movie looks good by trailer.

I agree with Twisted. Reviews are often subjective. I go by trailers as well before watching the film.

I don't do any check before I go to see a movie. I've never cared what the critics say about a movie because usually I like a movie that the critics hate. Also, I don't want to look at the internet before I go see a movie because I don't want to accidently come across any spoilers.

Not really. If the plot is good then I will watch it. There have been a few films where the reviews have been low but it has actually been quite good
