I am considering buying a backup PS3 and jailbreaking it. Just to unlock the potential of it.

If you do buy a 3.55, but honestly its not worth it. The potential of it is reading home brew apps and playing games without discs. Last gen is dying. (Yes this includes modding.) If you have any questions just ask me.
I got mine for $80 from one of my IRL friends.
I paid 30$ to some guy I found on PS3HAX in my local area.
Was it worth it? I considered jailbreaking my own PS3, though I'm still not sure if I should. I wouldn't want to regret my decision.
