Ghosts?
#1
Do you believe in ghosts? I do, as we do all have a soul, I believe that after our death,  it goes beyond to another world : the spirit realm and comes back as a ghost to our physical realm known as Earth. So, do you believe in them? And what are your broad and general views on them?

I believe in a soul, but not "ghosts" as they are portrayed.

Personally, I believe that when one dies their soul leaves their body and is either reincarnated, or goes on to a realm elsewhere where the "mind" (or soul) continues

Do you believe in eternal rest? I believe that after our death, we are eternally resting. But a woman whom I met at my hospital asked me : "Do you really believe that after we're dead, we're resting? I don't." She said to me, so it raises the question : do we got eternal rest after we die or are we eternally tormented even in spirit form?

This one is very questionable and debatable. I believe nothing should be ruled out, just because you can't physically see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Personally, I think to some level I do believe in ghosts, there are large groups that believe in angels and everything nice, while there are others that believe in demons, possession, and whatnot.

I do believe in ghost sometimes. May be it's my illusion or something

I neither believe in ghosts nor a human soul. I see that it has been pointed out that nothing should be ruled out, and sure, I agree, in principle. Still, one has to remember to prove that something exists, the burden of proof lies on the ones that believe it. It is impossible to prove that something does not exist (unless it contradicts something that does exist), but that does not make it any more plausible.

If I actually did see a ghost, I'd surely reexamine my view. But first I'd try to rule out being psychotic, being drugged or being asleep.

Maybe you'll have an experience one day. I've had my fair share of experiences and it's quite livid and scary to be honest. One was when I got chased by a ball of light when I was 14 and chased out of the woods which a friend of mine was there and also saw the whole thing. I was not on drugs.

It's my opinion the bible is correct. You either go to heaven or hell. But I do believe in reincarnation too. The will needs somewhere to go when you die is my personal belief. Because kinetic energy can never be destroyed, your will must travel onward. You then go to heaven or hell. It's as simple as that in my opinion. Purgatory seems to be a place when you need to stay behind for a short time because of your loved ones. I don't think people are there for long.
