Somethings just sounds fake about that audio, I know what that is and that it appears to have a different frequency response compared to the other people talking suggesting that the audio from the “mother” was recorded on a completely different microphone.
It could be real but the audio just does not sound right at all.

I feel the owner of the video would have used an external mic to record his side of the voice, however a capture card would have recorded the gameplay and possibly his in-game voice (not the "mothers"). However, listening to the video while typing this I do think it was scripted and the mother is a prerecording playing in the background. I found the video quite funny in all honesty though.

A multiple microphone set up would be extremely complex for most gamers to pull off as most of them you the capture card output.
It would be more likely on PC but most people play call of duty on consoles as PC attracts a different type of gamer.

So I was watching a few more videos from the same person yesterday and he gave it away in one of his videos on how he does it. According to him he was using Turtle Beaches to record his voice and whenever he wanted to give the distinct feel that the mother was in the background he would take off his headset and take it away from his mouth and then play the voice of the mother.
