You own a gaming company

I'd call it GameOsphere!

The controllers would be varied between hand controllers and VR goggles.

My Company would focus on remastering older games with new graphics and better controls.

I like that you focused on the overheating issues a lot of consoles have, that's something a lot of companies overlook it. I do love the transparent look, too. The glow from the light looks so pretty :]

The name? HypocriSoft.

That or a company focused on RPGs. That would be fun too.

LOL! At first I thought you were just making fun of my post, it still made me laugh, though.

Naw, if anything your company would release the kind of games HypocriSoft was created to defend. We live to litigate.

I suppose if I were to consider the question a little more seriously I would probably want a company that focuses on a single, endlessly-upgradeable game, rather than dropping one or new titles every year. I appreciate developers who don't abandon their games after release, and there are so many titles that could get better and better with more expansions, more areas, more items, more... everything. Wouldn't be a huge company, for sure, but I could be happy pounding away on the same title endlessly for a decade or so. Works for the guys who made Dwarf Fortress.

Gaming means playing video games, so owning a gaming company means you pay a bunch of people to sit around playing video games.

As for a video game company , I'd probably make mostly funny games like Psychonauts. I think there are a lot of serious games now where the life or death of millions of people is at stake and I'd like to bring back comedy games similar to Conker or Neverdead.
The last really funny game I played was Deadpool. I heard that South Park :The Stick of Truth was amusing. I miss humor in games. In the 1990s ,it seems like there were more funny games.

I'd probably focus on throwing out a great game every few years. I'd like to see a game where your choices truly matter, not just the illusion of choice you get with games like The Walking Dead. Branching storylines is something I wanted to see for a really long while and it gives immense replay value to the game, I know I would definitely want to play a game like this.

You would think that. In reality Bill Gates probably doesn't play many video games. He owns Xbox and a few other companies. Not many owners ever get to play their creations in its prime. He might have picked up a controller for releases and so on, but I don't think he plays a lot of video games. He hires CEOs and lets it go from there.

That is not what I am talking about. I am saying that the title of the thread doesn't make sense to me.

The title says "gaming company".  Microsoft makes hardware and software, they do not make "gaming".

Gaming is the activity that you do after you buy the hardware and software.

Hideo Kojima makes games, he is not paid to be a gamer, therefore he is/has a game developer or software company , not a " gaming company".

The only actual gaming companies I know of are Major League Gaming, Machinima and Rooster Teeth because they are paid for gaming. They are paid to play video games professionally.

So....if I had a gaming company , I would try to recruit world class gamers on my team and win some tournaments.

If the OP meant video game company, game developer or software company, they should have just said that.

Using the term "gaming company" is like calling Taco Bell an eating company ,or Nike a wearing company.
