 Was watching this past Saturday adultswim and a promo jumped up about Samurai Champloo is coming back Jan. 2! Great news that it's coming back on the air in Jan. I just started to watch the ending of the series of Samurai Champloo and saw just 2 episodes of it....The End.  :( I'm so glad now I can see the entire series of Samurai Champloo come 2016. How about you?

It started out well and I love the intro and exit theme. That said like Cowboy Bebop it's over hyped as a good show - really a lot of it is either boring or completely out of left field. For this show in particular -the characters at their best are wonderful, but far more often they are less than two dimensional. They also tend to be very unlikable. Also the story line was super weak.

That said likes are subjective and I just didn't like this show - but I am happy for you! It's great when something you enjoy gets an extended run. So have fun with that!

I've always wanted to see the series! I'm glad that it's getting a sequel. Wish we got something new from the Cowboy Bebop universe :( I loved the characters and world. A midquel episodes would be perfect.
