I know lots of people find reading to be entertaining and in recent years, Hollywood has started making more movies based on a book. 

So, do you normally like to read for the fun of it?  Do you go see the movie based on the book (if there is a movie based on that book)?  How often do you read?  What sort of books do you read?

I read a lot. I read a lot of fiction mostly with the occasional non fic every now and then. I am currently re-reading one of my favourite novels called Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It's amazing and I will always recommend Marquez as he is one of my favourite writers. As for films based on books, I do appreciate them but I will always be biased towards book versions.

That's me.  I tend to favor the book over the movie 99% of the time.  It's extremely rare that I will enjoy a movie more than the book it was based off of.  I'm reading a couple of different books right now.  I wouldn't mind if they made a tv show or a movie was based on the books that I am reading at the moment.

I love reading mostly fantasy, sci-fi.

I never really read since i find it hard to read, i skip most lines without knowing.
Only time i read is when i code.

I read mostly fantasy, science fiction, horror/thriller and the occasional mystery.  Most of the stuff I read fall into one of those categories.  I enjoy reading quite a bit.
