I'm sure some of you may have heard the stories about EA and Battlefront 2. They ended up giving up and taking out microtransactions from the game...for the moment anyway because of all the bad publicity. It was all because they decided to let users either grind for 40+ hours or pay for characters like Vader. And Vader is not just a cosmetic thing, you can become a lot better than the other characters when playing with heroes so it basically became pay to win. What are your thoughts on this?

I feel like it makes you thrive more if there is something to play towards earn and achieve, you can easily buy something, it's about putting the time and effort in that makes the accomplishment worth it.

I haven't played either game so I can't say for sure. I can see Sir Twisted's point of view though. It makes things more playable if you have something to work towards.
