Do you believe in God?
#61
I don't know. I'd like to think there is a god listening when I (very very rarely) talk to him. Though the few times I do, it ends up working out for me. I'm sort of a non-believer believer. I don't go to church or worship or anything, it's just sometimes when I need to I sort-of pray(not like obviously, just in my head). In the future, maybe I'll go full christian, or drop it all together. I guess you could say I'm on the fence.

Check out Buddhism or Taoism.
Two belief systems that are less about fearing and obeying the big scary 50's dad in the sky and more about bettering the world around you by bettering yourself.
Don't bend yourself in to something you aren't just to appease a church or a God.
Come to accept your own nature and be the change you want to see in the world.
(Not my words, just the general vibe that Taoism puts out.)

I've though about Buddhism before, but didn't fit for me, but I've never heard of Taoism. I definitely will check that out.

I am quite far from a religious man, but if I had to pick a belief system it would probably be Taoism.
You don't even need to get in up to your nuts in spiritualism with Taoism to get something out of it.
It's kind of like a state of mind focused on internal reflection and analysis.
To understand the universe you must first understand yourself.
